Insulated Chimney Bottom Adapter "+" (Female)
Description and Purpose
The Bottom Adapter "+" (Female) is the starting element of the insulated chimney system. It is designed to transition from a standard single-wall pipe to the double-wall insulated structure.
This element allows you to start the insulated section of the chimney at any point in the assembly scheme — for example, directly on the boiler spigot or before passing through the ceiling after an uninsulated connection pipe.
Function and principle of operation:
The key feature of this adapter is the presence of an expanded bottom socket. The connection works on the "Female" principle: the single-wall pipe from the stove or boiler is inserted inside the adapter.
This design ensures a smooth entry of flue gases into the channel without turbulence. Immediately after the adapter, the gases enter the insulated environment, which maintains their temperature and stabilizes the draft.
Key Features
- Reliable insulation protection: A hermetic stainless steel ring completely covers the end layer of basalt wool, protecting it from moisture and shedding.
- Versatility: The element is identical to the adapters supplied with our 90° and 45° tees.
- Heat resistance: The inner liner is made of acid-resistant steel AISI 304L/316L (Class T600).

Installation Tips
- Sealing: When using a female connection (pipe inserted inside), it is recommended to use high-temperature stove sealant for full gas tightness of the joint.
- Fixation: The upper part of the adapter connects to the next insulated pipe. This joint must be secured with a locking band (clamp).
- Alternative: If unhindered condensate drainage is important for your system (assembly "by condensate"), use the Adapter "-" (Male).
