Insulated Chimney Tee 45° with Adapter
Description and Purpose
The 45° inclined tee is designed to connect the heating appliance to the main vertical chimney stack. This is the most preferred option in terms of aerodynamics.
Why 45° is better for draft:
Unlike a right angle (90°), here the flue gases enter the main channel smoothly without hitting the back wall of the pipe. This minimizes turbulence, improves flow speed (draft), and reduces soot deposition at the turning point.
Included components and features:
The product is supplied with a factory-fitted adapter. It allows for a hermetic connection of the insulated sandwich tee with the single-wall pipe coming from the boiler.
Advantages of the element
- Perfect draft: Minimal aerodynamic resistance. Highly recommended for open fireplaces and solid fuel boilers.
- Safety (100 kg/m³): The turning node experiences maximum thermal loads. Dense basalt insulation protects the structure from overheating (Class T600).
- Durability: The inner liner is made of acid-resistant stainless steel AISI 304L/316L.

Installation Tips
Using an inclined tee requires a specific configuration of the lower part of the chimney:
- Cleanout: The 45° tee does not have a built-in inspection door. Therefore, a separate element — a tee with inspection or a cleanout plug — must be installed below it. Otherwise, the chimney sweeper will not have access to the channel.
- Condensate: Install a condensate drain element at the lowest point of the structure.
- Support (Weight): The structural weight must be borne by a Wall Support Console, on which the inspection module or support base rests.
- Fixation (Vertical): Use a Wall Bracket above the tee for stability.
