Insulated Chimney Tee 90° with Inspection & Adapter
Description and Purpose
This element combines the functions of a standard connection tee and an inspection unit. Structurally, it features an additional opening opposite the connection spigot, sealed with a tight cap (inspection hatch).
Why it is needed:
This configuration allows for "through-cleaning" of the horizontal chimney section (from the boiler to the wall) without dismantling the system. You do not need to install a separate inspection element, which saves both space and money.
Included components:
The product is supplied with a pre-installed adapter (connection to single-wall pipe), allowing you to immediately connect the heating appliance's flue to the system.
The inspection hatch is structurally offset relative to the central axis. This is intentional design to prevent the formation of flue gas turbulence (vortices) that could impair the draft.
Advantages of the element
- Easy maintenance: Provides direct access for inspection and soot removal from the most problematic area — the horizontal run from the boiler.
- Ready-made solution: The adapter for connecting to the boiler is already included.
- Thermal insulation (100 kg/m³): A dense layer of basalt wool prevents the smoke from cooling down at the turning point, reducing condensate formation.

Installation Tips
When installing this node, consider the following recommendations:
- Condensate Drainage: Since the side inlet is occupied by the door and the front by the boiler, the bottom outlet of the tee must be used for moisture collection. Install a plug with condensate drain or a collector there.
- Support (Weight): The Tee is the base of the chimney. Its weight must be transferred to the wall using a load-bearing Wall Support Console. Hanging installation is not permitted.
- Fixation (Axis): Use a Wall Bracket above the tee to secure the vertical axis.
- Access: When planning the installation, ensure there is enough space (at least 30-40 cm) opposite the inspection door for the chimney sweeper to work.
