Connecting clamps for insulated stainless steel flues are necessary to connect the flue elements to each other. The connecting clamps have both mechanical and decorative functions.
It is recommended that stainless steel rivets are additionally used at the connection of the outer casing of the fittings of insulated flues.
Above D-250 mm, riveting and the use of wide connecting clamps are mandatory, the number of rivets per connection being between 6 and 16 depending on the pipe diameter. Rivets must be of stainless steel material (A2, A4), other materials are prohibited.
It is recommended to connect insulated flue pipes to each other with wide connecting clamps.
It is recommended that the connection elements (from the tee to the heating unit) are connected to each other with connecting clamps, the connections being additionally sealed with a heat-resistant sealant.
