Wide Connecting Clamp (Reinforced) IZOKOMPAKT
Description and Purpose
The wide connecting clamp is a reinforced version of the standard fastener. Due to the increased contact area, it ensures much more rigid fixation of joints than a narrow clamp.
This element turns a modular chimney into a practically monolithic column. The wide steel strip completely covers the pipe connection point, creating a perfect appearance without visible seams.
Main Advantages
- Maximum Rigidity: Increased width allows gripping a larger surface of the connected elements, eliminating backlash or pipe bending at the joint.
- Safety for Large Diameters: For heavy chimneys with an outer diameter from 250 mm, the use of wide clamps is not a recommendation, but a technical safety requirement.
- Visual Compatibility: Option to choose identical material and color as the chimney casing.

Installation and Riveting Rules
- Mandatory Requirement (>250 mm): If the outer diameter of your chimney is 250 mm or more, you are required to use wide clamps.
- Joint Riveting: For diameters from 250 mm, fixation of the connection with stainless steel rivets (A2, A4) is mandatory. Number of rivets: from 6 to 16 pieces per joint (depending on the load). The use of aluminum rivets is prohibited.
- Sealing: Before installing the clamp, it is recommended to coat the joints of the inner pipes with heat-resistant sealant.
Alternatives
For small diameter chimneys (up to 250 mm), if there are no increased wind loads, a standard narrow clamp can be used.
