Decorative Chimney Rosette (Round)
Description and Purpose
The decorative chimney rosette is a ring-shaped element designed to neatly frame the exit point where the chimney passes through a wall or ceiling. It covers the installation gap between the pipe and the building structure.
The product is made of polished stainless steel (AISI 430), ensuring a unified visual style with the main chimney pipe.
Design Features
- Solid construction: Unlike square plates, the standard rosette is a continuous ring without cuts. It must be slid onto the pipe during the chimney assembly process, before you connect the modules together. It is impossible to install it on an already assembled chimney.
- Coverage: The rosette has a wide rim (approx. 50-75 mm), which means its total outer diameter is 100–150 mm larger than the pipe itself. This effectively hides even large gaps in the wall opening.
- Technological gap: The inner diameter of the ring is 3–4 mm larger than the pipe diameter. This is done intentionally so that the metal does not scratch the chimney during installation and to compensate for thermal expansion during heating.
Technical Specifications
The rosette size is selected based on the outer diameter of your pipe.
| For pipe (Outer Ø) | Rosette Outer Ø (Approx.) |
|---|---|
| 200 mm | ~ 300 - 350 mm |
| 220 mm | ~ 320 - 370 mm |
| 225 mm | ~ 325 - 375 mm |
| 250 mm | ~ 350 - 400 mm |
| 280 mm | ~ 380 - 430 mm |
| 300 mm | ~ 400 - 450 mm |
Installation Recommendations
- Fastening: Since the rosette has a clean finish without pre-drilled holes, it is installed using a small amount of silicone or assembly adhesive applied to the back surface.
- Safety: Remember that the rosette is a decorative element, not insulation. Even an insulated pipe heats up during prolonged firing. When passing through wooden ceilings, be sure to observe the safe gap between the pipe and the wood according to fire safety regulations.
