Insulated Chimney Inspection Tee with Rectangular Door
Description and Purpose
This module is designed for the inspection of the flue channel and soot removal. Unlike the standard inspection tee with a round cap, this model is equipped with a rectangular inspection box with a door.
Design advantages:
The rectangular shape of the hatch provides more convenient access for cleaning tools (brushes, weights), especially on large diameters. This solution is often used in professional boiler rooms and systems with intensive operation where cleaning is required regularly.
Design features:
The door has a double wall with insulation, which prevents freezing and loss of draft. The size of the cleanout opening depends on the chimney diameter (typically 140x210 mm or 140x270 mm), complying with European chimney maintenance standards.
Advantages of the element
- Convenient access: The door on hinges or latches opens faster and easier than removing a tight round plug.
- Airtightness: The door design ensures a tight fit, preventing air intake and smoke penetration into the room.
- Thermal protection (100 kg/m³): The entire unit, including the door housing, is insulated with basalt wool, which prevents the formation of condensation on the inner surface of the hatch.

Installation Tips
For proper integration of the unit into the system:
- Condensate collection: The inspection design does not provide for liquid collection inside the box. Be sure to install a condensate drain (collector) or a bottom plug with drainage below.
- Location: Install the inspection unit in an accessible place. The distance in front of the door should allow free work with tools (minimum 50 cm of free space).
- Support: The weight of the chimney must not stress the inspection unit "to the breaking point". Use a heavy-duty wall bracket to fix the chimney base.
- Connection: The boiler connection tee is mounted on top of the inspection unit.
