Description
A heat recovery unit is a supply and exhaust ventilation system whose primary function is to provide continuous air exchange while simultaneously preserving thermal energy. The device mechanically extracts polluted indoor air (containing excess carbon dioxide, moisture, and odors) while simultaneously supplying fresh outdoor air. Inside the unit, the air streams do not mix; instead, they pass through a heat recovery core, where the heat from the extracted air is transferred to the supply air. This physical process significantly reduces the heat loss and helping buildings comply with modern European energy performance requirements, including the principles of the EPBD.
Modern ventilation systems of this class are designed for minimal energy consumption and acoustic comfort. The use of energy-efficient EC motors ensures quiet operation of the equipment at any speed, and integration with automation components allows for precise parameter adjustment and remote control of the system via a smartphone.
Configuration Differences (Basic, Classic, Premium)
For most central units in the catalogue (including the AIR EXPERT, PRO MAX, PRO MINI, VEKO, and HEKO series), three levels of technical equipment are available, allowing you to select the optimal solution for specific engineering requirements:
- BASIC: A solution for stable air exchange. The unit is equipped with a high-tech cross-flow heat exchanger (from leading European manufacturers RECAIR or KLINGENBURG). This extended counter-flow design delivers laboratory-tested heat recovery efficiencies of up to 98%. It is supplied without a built-in preheater or automatic summer bypass.
- CLASSIC: A balanced configuration. It retains the same cross-flow heat exchanger with an efficiency of up to 98%, but is additionally equipped with a 100% automatic bypass for natural indoor cooling in summer and a modulated preheater to protect the system from freezing in winter. The standard equipment includes a control panel and a Wi-Fi module.
- PREMIUM (Maximum Comfort): The main technical feature of this version is the enthalpy heat exchanger. Although the sensible heat recovery efficiency here is up to 85% (compared to 98% in base models), this difference is fully compensated by the recovery of latent energy — moisture. The enthalpy core returns useful moisture from the exhaust air back into the room, eliminating the need to purchase expensive stationary humidifiers during the winter. This makes it an optimal solution for homes equipped with underfloor heating.

AIR EXPERT Series: Lightweight EPP Technology
A premium series of central units with capacities of 400 and 600 m³/h. The main technological feature is the inner casing made of Expanded Polypropylene (EPP). This material possesses high thermal insulation properties, prevents the formation of thermal bridges, and effectively dampens acoustic noise and structural vibrations.

PRO MAX Series: Flagship Power and Reliability
Classic high-capacity heat recovery units in a robust painted galvanized steel casing with dense mineral wool sound and thermal insulation (40 mm). The equipment is designed for medium to large homes, providing high-quality filtration (M5/F7 classes) while maintaining stable airflow throughout complex duct systems.

PRO MINI, VEKO, and HEKO Series: Compact Solutions
Systems developed specifically for apartments, townhouses, and small private homes requiring an air exchange of 250 to 300 m³/h. Their compact dimensions allow for wall or floor mounting (depending on the model). The VEKO 250 and HEKO 250 models are structurally identical units that differ solely in the type of duct connection: the VEKO version is vertical, while the HEKO is horizontal. These units are an excellent choice for private homes and residential developments where technical space is limited.

AirSaver Series: Decentralized (Room) Heat Recovery
An engineering solution for rooms with already finished interiors. The installation does not require the design or routing of ceiling ducts — the device is mounted directly through the external wall. The advanced intelligent models of the AirSaver Elite series are equipped with a Wi-Fi module, CO2 sensors, fine filters (HEPA H12), and several operating modes, including air recirculation and indoor air purification modes.
