Flexible air duct installation in radial systems

Small cross-section flexible corrugated air ducts are the modern engineering standard for creating concealed air distribution systems (so-called radial ventilation) in private homes, apartments, and commercial premises. The main value of this technology lies in saving space and speed of assembly. Unlike massive rigid galvanized ducts, flexible plastic routes are easily mounted inside the concrete floor screed, in wall chases, or behind suspended ceilings with minimal loss of room height.

Advantages of the radial ventilation system

• Strict hygiene maintenance. The inner smooth layer of the ducts contains integrated additives based on silver and silicon dioxide nanoparticles. This prevents the development of bacteria, fungi, and mold inside the route throughout the entire service life of the equipment.
• Concealed installation in concrete screed. Thanks to high ring stiffness and compressive strength (up to 500 N), the air ducts are laid directly under the pour of heavy construction mixtures. The structure reliably withstands the pressure of concrete without deformation or loss of the designed cross-section.
• Corrosion resistance and simple installation. The products are made of high-density polyethylene (HDPE), which does not rust when condensation forms. The duct run is installed as a single continuous duct run without the use of elbow fittings, and the material is cut with a utility knife without spark-producing tools (angle grinders).
• Acoustic comfort. The smooth inner surface of the pipes minimizes aerodynamic resistance. Air exchange occurs quietly, without the formation of turbulent eddies and characteristic humming.

VENT-FLEX Product Line

The catalog presents three series of air ducts tailored to various project requirements:

• VENT-FLEX (Base series): A standard and reliable solution for most residential projects. It is a double-layer pipe with a smooth inner wall and an antibacterial coating.
• VENT-FLEX PREMIUM: A series with improved performance characteristics. The outer layer is UV-resistant, allowing the material to be stored on open construction sites. The inner layer is enhanced with antistatic properties to effectively repel dust.
• VENT-FLEX PREMIUM PLUS: The flagship line. It retains UV protection and antistatic properties, while the corrugation geometry is specially calibrated for a secure locking connection of the TPK system's plastic distribution manifolds.

Technical standards and design

• Available sizes: The standard outer diameter is Ø75 mm. The air ducts are supplied in 50-meter coils for convenient logistics and minimization of waste on site.
• Aerodynamics: The optimal 75 mm cross-section at the recommended (silent) flow velocity of 2.5 m/s ensures a stable fresh air supply of 28 m³/h, which covers the needs of a standard bedroom. By connecting two routes to one room, the flow capacity increases to 56 m³/h.
• Airtightness class: The use of original EPDM seals at the joints with manifolds and plenum boxes allows the entire ventilation system to meet the high «C» airtightness class (according to the European standard EN 12237).
